Description:
This and patents 381,969 and 381,970 are the first patents for the AC induction motor. The patent was assigned to himself and Charles Peck, but they sold the patent to Westinghouse in July of 1888. Tesla moved to Pittsburgh for a year to train Westinghouse personnel.
