Description: |
The action is reverse of a tongs; the spring forces the jaws outward -- to force the plates against the inside of the wheel hub with the notches straddling the axle nut. The revolving plates are to adapt to different sizes of wheel hubs and axle nuts. They would have sufficient "bite" to turn the axle nut along with the wheel, but not so much as to over-tighten the nut. |
