Description: |
| Turning the handle adjusts the jaw openings. The major claim of the patent is that the ball bearings in the adjustment make it very difficult to "stick" the wrench; i.e. adjust it so tight that a hammer is needed to loosen its grip. A set screw "locks" the adjustment.
Corresponding Canadian patent no. CA-62,882 was granted March 13, 1899. |
