Description: |
Bar clamp with the adjustable jaw sliding on the bar. Fine toothed inserts are placed at the points where the adjustable jaw contacts the bar when clamping force is applied. A spring holds the adjustable jaw in position with the teeth contacting the bar; the adjustable jaw thus can only move when it can be tipped "forward" toward the fixed jaw. The patent includes the end stop on the bar. |
