Description: |
Abstract:
Disclosed is a deburring apparatus having a tool holder mounted on a mechanism which moves the holder along a path corresponding to the nominal contour of the edge of a cut such as a groove or slot in the work piece to be deburred. A deburring tool is mounted in the tool holder for movement toward and away from the edge to be deburred and is resiliently biased toward the edge so that it automatically follows the cut and removes the burr therefrom despite variations of the edge being deburred from its nominal location. |
