Description:
The patent, along with patent 4,070,012, cover what was known as the "Super Wee Block", a small vee block used for holding cylindrical parts for grinding and other operations. No assignment is shown on the original patent documents. USPTO records show that on 1981-11-16 an assignment was registered, to Dickson/Unigage, Inc. On 1983-01-18 the assignment was transferred to American National Bank and Trust Co., Chicago, on 1983-02-10 the assignment was transferred to D.U., Inc., and on 1983-10-18 the assignment was transferred back to Dickson/Unigage, Inc.

This patent's application was divided from what became patent 4,070,012. The invention in this patent is a fixture for holding a cylindrical workpiece for grinding, and is an improvement to patent 3,094,821 to better adapt it to grinding pieces of smaller diameter, e.g., 0.064 inches (about 1.6 mm).
