        Description: |
| Used on early models of the Sargent #160, #161, and #162 family of roughing (more commonly known as scrub) planes. Sargent switched to a conventional style of scrub plane with wooden tote and knobs after the cast ones proved to be easily broken in a fall. The #162 model has two cutters side-by-side and is a rare and valuable plane. |
