Description:
This specialized form of Heaton's combination tool features a sheathed knife blade and awl on the ends of the handles for use in repairing leather belting.

Corresponding U.S. patent 126,544 was granted May 7, 1872; Canadian patent CA-2,425 was granted June 5, 1873.
