Description:
This hog-ring pliers is designed to form a common horse-shoe nail into a hog ring and crimp it into place. This is a two stage operation, with the nail first bent around the circular lug to start the curve, and then inserted in a fashion similar to other hog-rings.

A known example is marked only PAT'D 1879.
