| This wire-stripper design, sold as the "Speedex Wire Stripper" by Wood Specialty Manufacturing Co., was immensely successful. By 1956 the inventor's company, Wood Specialty Manufacturing Co., had become Speedex Manufacturing Co., a Division of General Cement Manufacturing Co., which in turn was owned by Textron Inc. Patent CA-414,214 was the Canadian equivalent of this patent. |
