Description:
The interchangeable socket heads slip into a hook-shaped opening. They have teeth on both sides of the reduced center shaft. They are held in place by the spring-backed ratchet pawl. The pawl is "forked" to straddle the handle and engage both sets of teeth on the socket head. The specifications describe leather shims to adapt the sockets to odd sized or odd shaped nuts.
