Description:
A spring-loaded sliding jaw can be slid into size adjustment, with a toothed cam lever providing final grip and holding power. The spring between the jaw and frame holds the jaw sufficiently to allow ratchet-like "jacking" action to close the jaws.

Known example on original OXWALL TOOL COMPANY hanger card is marked JAK-LOK U.S. PAT No. 3,283,624 // JAPAN.
