Description:
The patent is for the piece with gripping teeth, and extended lip to engage standard sprocket chain, and shaped to fit into the slotted "way" of a standard adjustable end wrench. The patent includes alternate openings in the body to adapt this piece for use with a ratchet wrench or Allen wrench.

Known examples have some variation of "TIGER" as part of the marking -- TIGER TOOL or TIGER CLAW.

The specifications cite patent nos. 337,627, 3,205,735, and 3,314,317 as relevant prior art.

The third image shows the adapter in conjunction with a CHAPMAN TIGER-LOCK adjustable end wrench based on patent number 3,190,154.
