Vintage Machinery entry for Landis Tool Co.
Description:
This patent was the genesis of Landis Tool Co.; Abraham B. Landis had been working at Geisler Mfg. Co. when he developed this grinder, and he left Geisler, apparently with their blessing, to begin manufacture of this grinder. Landis subsequently patented several improvements to his original design, and his line of grinders was very successful.
