An ad in an 1866 issue of Scientific American read, "Improved Circular Saw Arbor—This improvement is for centering saws on their arbors when the hole in the saw is larger than the arbor. The saw is centered instantly and with precision. It can be attached to any ordinary arbor now in use. State Rights for sale. For further particulars address W. T. & L. H.
