Description:
The patent comprises a pair of spring-loaded hinged jaws with relatively soft interior faces to act as "no-mar" pipe jaw inserts to be used with a pipe or nut wrench. A linking bar limits their motion so they won't crush pipe.

These were advertised as the WAKEFIELD WRENCH CLAMP in sizes to fit pipe 1/8" through 1".
