Description:
Tubular oil reservoir with a screw-on cap. The cap has an internal spring-loaded closure plug. The drawing also shows an axle-nut wrench with a retaining spring clip, although that feature is not part of the patent.

Advertised in 1898 as a combination wrench and oiler; known examples have no visible markings. One variety has three open end wrench sizes on the end of the handle/oil reservoir.
