Description:
"The invention resides in the partial continuity only of the crank and the fixed addition thereto of an angle-arm, extending from the inner termination of a wrench member, having a substantially V-shaped jaw on the lower portion of the outer termination and an apertured guide in rear of said jaw."

The design is an axle-nut wrench. A split spring between the frame and adjusting sleeve acts to provide clamping pressure on the jaws.
