Description:

The idea of this screwdriver handle is to mount the shaft in the usual manner, then drop a metal rod in a hole in contact with its end, followed by a metal disc and a plug of leather discs cemented together. This allows it to be hammered on without damaging the handle, or risking metal-on-metal percussion.
