Description:
The patent is a die holder attachment for the Elgin adjustable alligator wrench (Patent No. 584,019 -- June 8, 1897). The patent includes modifications to the handle portion of the wrench.

The slide in the die holder allows the wrench to be repositioned in 90 degree increments with relation to the die. Patent no. 1,062,047 describes the composite tool.
