Description:
Most of the patents prior to 1836 were lost in the December 1836 fire. Only about 2000 of the almost 10000 documents were recovered.

Little is known about this patent. Neither patent drawing nor specification are available.

A 1982 biography of Quimby, "The Healing Wisdom of Dr. P. P. Quimby", says that this patent was issued in 1829, which is incorrect. All other sources, including those from the Patent Office, say this patent was issued in 1834.
