Description:
William Gelbaugh is back with an improvement to his earlier patent (750,842). This patent has abandoned the idea of using the hinge plate itself as part of the tool, and instead provides a bent sheet metal body and adjustable fence.

This patent was produced, but apparently not in large numbers. Known examples are marked with the patent date of his previous design, and the words "PAT PENDG".

This idea was further refined in his next patent (1,031,995).
