This chain wheel design is memorialized on a stamped steel combination hook and pin spanner and open end wrench marked "PAT. JULY 11, 99" and "TRADEMARK" with a lightning bolt symbol, and a similar wrench without the open end.

Fauber produced bicycle parts including cranks, crank bearings, etc. -- see also entry for patent 492,959.
