| A pliers type tool with jaw faces designed to grip horseshoe calks. Some are marked with the maker name and "PAT PEND" and some with the patent date. Markings on some indicated association with the ROWE Ring-Point calks.
Prior horseshoe calk wrenches had been produced based on patent #s 165,271, 588,438, and 796,305. Patent no. 1,254,813 also addresses problems inherent in manipulating horseshoe calks. |
