Description:
The British patent corresponds to Bedell's July 28, 1874 (No. 153,528) and Jan. 12, 1875 (No. 158,668) U.S. patents for a wrench with movable jaw that slides independently of the adjusting screw.

Alexander Melville Clark was a British patent agent.
