Description: |
Improvement to patent no. 402,265, for a combination quick and screw adjustment for the sliding jaw of a "monkey wrench." The adjusting pawl has a partial thread that engages a rack on the shank. The adjusting pawl can be turned to allow the jaw to slide freely.
Parallel Canadian patent CA-33,033 was granted Dec. 4, 1889. Subsequent improvement patents are 449,129 and 538,841. |
