Description:
Small wrench with a threaded section on the shank that screws into a retainer plate on the snath, or with a notch engaging a spring holder in the snath.

Snath wrenches were used to adjust the bolt that held a scythe blade on to the snath.

Corresponding U.S. patent 641,122 was granted Jan. 9, 1900.
