Description: |
Already patented in England (April 30, 1884, G.B. #7000), the goal of this bit is to provide an auger bit, with no lead screw, which needs no preparation of the material to start holes accurately and which bores rapidly. The cutting lips are configured so that they undertake a skew cut, and are inclined so that they present cutting tips near the center of the bit. |
