Description: |
| The pivoted gripping surface on the movable jaw has a curved toothed surface.
Compare this one to R.A. Mull's Oct. 25, 1925 patent (no. 1,557,864).
MANUFACTURER ATTRIBUTION: After comparing examples of both the HOLLAND STEEL CORP PATENT 1925 (later STEEL GRIP) pipe wrench, and the PAT. PEND BULL DOG GRIPS - NEVER SLIPS BULL DOG WRENCH CO. BENTON HARBOR MICH pipe wrench (announced in spring 1924), it seems likely this patent applies to the HOLLAND STEEL product. (Holland Steel Corp. was formed in 1926; BULL DOG was formed in 1924). |
