Description:
"Leaf adjust" open end wrench. The patent claims the adjustment structure of "leaves" and compression spring on a separate structure applied to the wrench base. The specification and claims evolved during the patent application process.

TERRY'S TURBINE SPANNER was introduced in 1910 and was in production for a least a decade. One early notice mentions three sizes; a later listing shows two sizes.
