This invention relates to an improved "direct current comparator", a device that allows highly precise measurement of currents, resistances, etc., depending on how it is used. A comparator of this type and bearing this patent number has been seen; it was made by Guildline Instruments Ltd., of Smith Falls, Ontario. This comparator also was marked with German patent DE-1,264,604, and France application number 132,786 (we have not been able to find an issued French patent corresponding to this application). The nearest American equivalent is US patent 3,500,171.
