Description: |
| Two metal pieces; a counter-weighted "guard" piece pivoted from the "body" piece, and a latching means whereby the "guard" latches to the "body" when he head is raised, but is free to swing back to allow grazing and drinking when the head is lowered.
This patent is somewhat "intermediate" between U.S. patents 1,061,113 and 1,303,587.
