Description: |
| The specifications discuss assembly considerations, and modifications to suit specific applications. The basic frame is bent heavy wire, with straps to hold it in place, and a dependent "blab" which blocks sucking access and swings away to allow grazing and drinking when the head is lowered.
Corresponding Canadian patent CA-77,273 was issued Sept. 2, 1902.
Cryptic directory listings, and brief 1908 text ads for "Daggett" weaners are circumstantial evidence a Daggett design was produced, and suggest further research is warranted. |
