Description: |
|
This is a clever gage for laying our shingles while roofing. It is
a fairly simple design, and holds a standard carpenter's pencil
as a marking element.
In us, instead of measuring and snapping a chalk line to mark
the next row of shingles, a carpenter would slide this gage against
the end of the preceding row of shingles. This would be much quicker,
and could easily be done by a single person.
