Description: |
A double-sized socket with a set screw provides for two sizes of axle nuts. The hooks on the ends of the spring strap are padded to prevent damage to the finish on the wheel spokes.
This works to fix the axle nut to the wheel. An axle nut wrench conforming to this idea and Wegner's April 22, 1890 successor patent (no. 426,224) was produced by Wegner at Chicago. |
