Description:
Pipe jaw attachment for monkey wrenches. It slides over the shank from the back side and is held in place by a spring loop that swings over the outside of the "fixed" jaw.

Marketed as the ECLIPSE WRENCH ATTACHMENT in several sizes; a contemporary ad from an 1890 issue of IRON AGE is shown in Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930.".
