Description: |
This flexible coupling consists of a pair of plates, each with a circle of pins, so that the circle of one set of pins fits completely within the circle of pins on the other plate. Then a rubber or leather band is snaked sinusoidally around the pins, providing the flexible coupling between the plates. This invention has been seen on various woodworking machines, and has also been seen in a catalog from the S. A. Woods Machine Co., labeled as the Woods Flexible Coupling. |
