Abstract:
This invention relates to radii and angle dress- ers, and more particularly to a radii and angle dresser adapted to dress grinding wheels and to cut said wheels in any desired manner so that they may, in turn, be used in grinding or finishing other materials. An object of the invention is to provide a dresser which cannot only grind the wheels at any desired angle, but which can apply a convex or concave radius to the wheels. With the present invention it is possible to dress the wheel to practically any desired surface or combination of surfaces.
Claim:
A dresser including a base, a swivel member having an upright mounted on said base, a diamond mounted in said upright, means for adjustably limiting the movement of said swivel member, said means including a 'pair of rings, stops mounted on said rings, means for adjustably fixing the position of said rings, and a stop engaging member on said swivel member. |
