Description:
Opener for "crown cap" bottles, with a sharp pointed "pick" for lifting the cardboard cap used to seal milk and cream bottles. Term of patent 14 years.

The example shown in the image stamped "RETURN BOTTLES DAILY" demonstrates a handle shape noted in design patents D25,602 and D48,015.

Thomas Harding was one of the incorporators of J.L. Sommer Mfg. Co. in 1910.
