Description:
This is the Canadian equivalent of US patent 292,107.

Co-inventors Dake and Seek are described as patternmaker and filer, respectively. William F. Dake would, in 1887, establish the Dake Engine Co., which manufactured steam engines and, later, steering gear and other mechanical components for ships. After World War II Dake acquired Atlas Press's line of hydraulic presses, which they expanded considerably, and they remain in business today as Dake Corporation, a name that first appeared in about 1955.
