Description:
Screw adjust nut wrench, with supplemental lever handle and linkage to allow grip to relax to enable "ratchet" action.

A 1914 trade journal announcement of Millsap's MONKEYPLIERS is the only evidence this design was produced.

Compare Millsap's "parallel" patent 1,110,220, L.O. Veber patent 166,665, and late 19th Century Edward Wright patents 505,569, and 543,665.
