| Original patent application "abandoned," divided and re-filed Aug. 2, 1949. The drawings do not include "screw cutting" details appearing in the AMP "SHEARITE" PAT PENDING combination cutter and wire stripper introduced in 1948. The design as shown in this patent was produced as well. Later AMP wire cutter & terminal crimpers likely evolved from this design. |
