Description: |
| Canadian patent for "corrugated" horseshoe nails corresponding to U.S. patent 226,254; the drawings and specifications are slightly revised. The full names and professions of the inventors are given, in accord with Canadian practice. Capewell was "manufacturer;" Talbott & Williams "merchants."
Capewell also invented and patented machinery for mass production of horseshoe nails.
The "corrugated" nails described in this patent were noted as produced by the CAPEWELL HORSE NAIL Co. (successor to G. J. Capewell) in a 1904 description of the company. |
