Abstract
A folding rule including at least three links that are pivotably fastened to each other, at least one of the links has a scale for measuring the diameter of objects, the scale is designed in such a way that, when the object is completely enclosed by three adjacent links wherein the insides of the three links are each in contact with the object, a specified region of one of the links is in contact with the scale and a respective contact point on the scale indicates the diameter of the object.
Claim:
A folding rule, comprising at least three links that are pivotably fastened to each other, wherein at least one of the links has at least one scale for measuring the diameter of objects, which scale is designed in such a way that, when the object is completely enclosed by three adjacent links, with inner sides of the three links each bearing on the object, a predefined area of one of the links bears on the scale and a respective contact point on the scale indicates the diameter of the object. |
