Description:
Quick adjust pipe vise - the clamping lever has "interrupted threads" to provide final clamping pressure and hold adjustment.

The pipe vise was noted in mentions of DuCharme's short-lived companies at Johnstown, PA and Cambridge, OH ca. 1910-1911. Some associated wrenches are known; it is not clear that this vise was actually produced.
