Description: |
| An extensive array of bicycle / velocipede accessories, etc. The 9th section describes two forms of wrench /spanner of generally conventional form, with a focus on unique details of construction or combination of features. Neither form is known to have been produced. The patent is noted in Ron Geesin's THE ADJUSTABLE SPANNER, as Hall did produce other bicycle wrenches.
Note: Early British patents (pre 1916) were numbered by the year and started at patent #1 at the start of each year in January. The standard patent # convention for these uses the year of registration and the patent #, with "leading zeros" interposed to make the number total nine digits. This patent is #16,053 of the year 1893. |
