Corresponding Canadian patent CA-231,926 was granted June 12,1923; British patent GB-198,943 appears in 1923 ABRIDGMENTS OF SPECIFICATIONS.
A parallel "V jaw" version received patent no. 1,501,585.
The device was noted in contemporary trade journals.
