Description:
The patent is for the adjustment lock for an adjustable end wrench. The large "button" compresses the spring tension of the catch or catches to either press against or release from the "teeth" on the knurled adjusting worm of the wrench.

An adjustment lock similar to this form has been observed on some KEYSTONE 'S' handle adjustable wrenches and some models of Crescent Tool Co. "CRESTOLOY" wrenches.

The CRESTOLOY "CRESTOLOCK" wrenches were first advertised in 1958, and appear on the CRESTOLOY page of 1961 Crescent Tool Co. Catalog No. 35M.
