Description: |
The advantages claimed include a thin jaw cross-section. The wrench has one fixed and one movable jaw. The jaws pivot between a pair of dished side plates. Several adjustment options are shown or described in the specifications. The option appearing in the manufactured form is the nut with a tapered face on a bolt extending out from the pivot. Some manufactured wrenches incorporate "stepped jaw" and other improvements patented June 4, 1889 (pat. no. 404,770). |
