Description:
Pliers-like action, combined with adjustable sliding jaw. This produces an adjustable jaw parallel jaw pliers. There are meshing rack pieces in the handles to hold the grip, with slides to release them.

The patent also discusses other jaw forms which are shown in smaller drawings.
